Prerequisites for the Discovery RFx Publication TO External Marketplace API

Posting RFx events using this API requires the following prerequisites:

  • The buyer's SAP Ariba Sourcing system must be configured to allow public RFx event posting. Your SAP representative can activate the necessary entitlement.

  • The 3rd-party portal service providers must be defined by SAP Business Network administrators. Your SAP representative can help define the necessary site parameters in the system.

  • The target service provider sites must be enabled by your company buyer administrator.

    Follow these steps to enable service provider sites:

    1. Navigate to the SAP Business Network Configuration screen, and choose Enable Third Party Sites.

    2. The Configured Sites table lists all service provider sites eligible for enablement. If one or more sites in this table do not yet have entries in the Site Name or Description columns, you can add that information as follows:

      1. In the Add a new Site section, choose the desired service subscription from the Service Subscription dropdown.

      2. Enter values in the Site Name and Description fields.

      3. To enable this site, select true in the Enabled dropdown. If you select false, your new information will be added to the site's entry in the Configured Sites table, but the site will not be enabled.

      4. Save your changes.

    3. To enable a site directly from the Configured Sites table, select true in the Enabled column for each site you wish to enable.
