Turning Off Password Change Functionality

Context

If you use a third party identity provider, as is typically done with SSO and principal propagation authentication mechanisms, the password change functionality does not work. Turn off the password change function through the Agentry as follows:

Procedure

  1. Select Application from the tree in Project Explorer.
  2. Select the Application Security tab.
  3. Uncheck the box next to User can initiate password change.

  4. Click the Save button.
  5. Publish the application and deploy it to your server.
