Full Text Search

Prerequisites

Reuse products must exist in the system for which the texts have been indexed in the appropriate language. If there is no search index, a dialog box is displayed where you can create the search index. Text indexing is described in Maintaining Libraries under "Creating Indexes for Full Text Searches".

Context

You can carry out a full text search in the Reuse Library. All the documents contained in the library are searched, including, for example, Knowledge Warehouse and function module documentation.

Procedure


  1. In the navigation area in the field above the tree, enter your search term.

  2. Choose Search.

    A hit list made up of three columns appears. This displays the following:

    • Name of the Reuse product,

    • Rank of the hit,

    • Location within a product.

  3. To display a location, double click a line.
