Editing Waste Catalogs

Use

This procedure describes how you create and change a waste catalog.

Procedure

Creating Waste Catalogs

  1. In the Basic Data and Tools menu , choose Start of the navigation path Phrases Next navigation step Edit Phrases End of the navigation path .

  2. Choose with the quick info text Create and enter the required data .

    Note Note

    When you create a phrase , note that you can only use phrases from the active phrase libraryto assign values to fields and characteristics.

  3. Choose Item and enter the description of the waste catalog ( European waste catalog , for example) in all the required languages as the phrase text and the abbreviation of the waste catalog ( EWC , for example) as the phrase code.

  4. Choose Phrase Set a nd assign the phrase to the corresponding phrase sets.

  5. Save your entries.

Changing Waste Catalogs

  1. In the Basic Data and Tools menu , choose Start of the navigation path Phrases Next navigation step Edit Phrases End of the navigation path .

  2. Enter the search criteria and choose with the quick info text Hit List . For more information about searching for phrases, see Phrase Search .

  3. Select the phrase in the waste catalog that you want to change and choose:

    • with the quick info text Phrase Header if you want to change the header data in the phrase

    • Item if you want to change the phrase items, that is the description and abbreviation of the waste catalog

    • Phrase Set if you want to change the assignment of the phrase to a phrase set

  4. Enter data as required and save your entries.
