Defining the External Data Structure Sequence

Use

  1. At the start of the external file, you enter the control segment.

    The control segment for a specification file follows the phrase library information.

  2. The sequence of the following table values is shown in the following graphics:

    Note the field statuses in the graphics:

    • Status M: Table must be entered in file.

    • Status K: Table can be entered in file.

    Please also note the maximum number of repetitions (1 or n)
