Settings Dialog Box

 

The Settings dialog box provides you with a number of options for the settings. You have the three screen areas Use…Settings, Data Options, and Views available for this.

Integration

The Settings dialog box appears when you start the EH&S Open Content Connector (EH&S OCC) if you have selected only one specification. If you have selected more than one specification, you go from the Substances dialog box to the Settings dialog box.

Features

In each of the screen areas, you make the following settings:

  • Use … Settings

    The input help offers you the following series of options:

    • Default

      These are the default settings supplied when you start EH&S OCC for the first time.

      Changes that you made in other screen areas are reset if you select Default.

      By choosing the Default (Set Current Settings As Default ) pushbutton at the bottom of the dialog box, you can save your own settings as the default settings.

    • Substance

      If you select Substance, the system uses the specific settings for the respective specification that you set the last time you started EH&S OCC.

    • Custom

      If you change settings in other screen areas, the input help switches automatically to Custom. This also means that the current settings do not correspond to either the default settings or the specification-specific settings.

  • Data Options

    Select the Load Changes Only indicator if you only want to load changes made since the last time you started EH&S OCC.

  • Views

    In the Views screen area, you can expand the displayed tree and select whether you want to load the respective data. You choose either the indicator Load Data or No Load

Activities

  • You can transfer the settings for your current selection to specifications by choosing OK at the bottom of the dialog box.

  • You can apply your settings to all specifications by choosing Apply to All Substances at the bottom of the dialog box.
