Graphic Size

Graphic Size

If you select the expansion mode GPC with the expansion parameter G (graphics), you can choose from a number of settings to determine the size of the graphic. The chosen setting is added to the symbol in square brackets:

Value

Syntax Example

Description

Automatic

<01G1013008VA(G)[SZ:A]>

The graphic adjusts itself automatically to the text box or table cell in which the graphic symbol is located. This applies only if there is no additional text or graphics in the text box or table cell apart from the one graphic.

You can set the In Text Box indicator. Then when the symbol is inserted, a text box is inserted in which the symbol is positioned. Then you can drag the text box in the template to its required size.

Original

<01G1013008VA(G)[SZ:O]>

The graphic is inserted in the report in its original size.

User-Defined

<01G1013008VA(G)[SZ:x,y]>

You can specify the height and width of the graphic explicitly. If you do not enter a value in the Height field, the graphic is made proportionately larger or smaller. In this way, a repeating group can also be used for the discrete expansion of a multiple value assignment for graphics.
