Using Compressed Executables

Program sapcpe can work with compressed executables ( <file name> .Z) in the central diretory.

sapcpe identifies changes in compressed files using the timestamp. If the compressed file is more up-to-date than the local copy, sapcpe copies the compressed file from the central directory to the local directory and decompresses it.
