Working with SAP Gateway Services

Add an SAP Gateway service to an SAP Gateway destination.

Prerequisites

  • You have created a Composite View model with the SAPUI5 runtime.
  • You have created and configured an SAP Gateway system destination.

Procedure

  1. In Visual Composer, choose Search.
    The Search task panel opens.
  2. In the Search task panel, in the Select Provider dropdown list, select Gateway Services.
  3. In the System Destination dropdown list, select a destination.
  4. Do one of the following:
    • Choose the Search button.
    • In the Search for Service field, enter a search keyword; or in the dropdown list, choose a search keyword from the list, then choose the Search button.
  5. In the displayed results, open the entity set that you require.
  6. Drag any operations you require to the Storyboard:
    • Create
    • Delete
    • List
    • Read
    • Update
  7. From the hierarchy tree, drag any functions you require to the Storyboard.
  8. Continue working on your model and save your work.
