Create New Development Component Dialog Box

Use

You use the Create New Development Component dialog box to specify information about the development component that you are creating in the local repository.

You display the Create New Development Component dialog box by right-clicking the software component in the local repository in the Manage Models task panel and choosing New Development Component from the context menu, or by clicking the New button in the Create New Model dialog box.

The New Development Component dialog box contains the following items:

Item	Description
Repository	The local repository in which the development component is being created.
Software component	Software component in the local repository in which the development component is being created.
Master language	Original language used to name elements belonging to the development component.
Development component	Name of the development component being created. Note A development component name can contain only lower-case ASCII letters, digits, slashes (/), and underscores (_), and must not start with a digit or a slash. Development component names cannot end with reserved Web Dynpro suffixes, such as `_impl` , or name segments, such as `_comp` .
