Defining Relationships to Related Rooms

Use

The room relationship manager allows you to define relationships between the current room and related rooms. By assigning a relationship type to each assigned related room, you classify the relationships to other rooms.

All changes to the room relationships are automatically valid and appear in the room as of the next time the page containing the room relationships is called or refreshed.

Related rooms are displayed for all room members in an iView in the room. All rooms automatically contain this iView.

Procedure

1. In the room, choose the entry for room administration. Depending on how your room is configured, you can also find the entry for managing room relationships in the Related Links iView.
2. You can perform the following tasks in the iView for defining room relationships:
   • Filter the existing room relationships.

     You can use the relationship type to filter the rooms already related to the current room.

   • Create new room relationships.

     You can select (filter) a list of the available rooms, select the required related rooms, and add these to the room relationships together with a relationship type.

   • Delete existing room relationships.

     You can select relationships to other rooms that you no longer want to offer in the room and delete them.
