Lowest value comparison links LIFO valuation to lowest value determination. The gross value in the layer is compared to the value that would be the result of the prices generated during lowest value determination. The lowest of these can be stored in the layer as the net value.

You can carry out valuation on individual or pool level. This affects how the system compares the lowest values.
