Assignment of Changed Objects

Use

After you have made your logging setting, you can assign the changed tables or Change Documents to a Transaction or a freely selectable Scope of Check.

The following assignments are possible:

  • Transaction code/change document

You can assign several change document objects whose logging settings you have changed to a transaction code. This enables you to organize the changed objects and find them again quickly.

  • Transaction code/table

You can assign several tables whose logging settings you have changed to a transaction code. This enables you to organize the changed tables and find them again quickly.

  • Scope of check/table

You can assign several tables to a scope of check. The scope of check is a freely selectable text with which you can group the desired tables.

The assignments then appear under Own Assignments in the structure tree of the transactions S_AUT01 and S_AUT10.

In addition, the changed table or associated change document object is displayed in the SAP Easy Access Menu under the assigned transaction.

This list of transactions and their assigned objects or the scope of check with assigned tables provides you with an overview of all changed objects, and makes it easier for you to find them again at a later point in time.
