Deleting Projects
Procedure
Delete your project, if it is no longer needed. You can delete a project before or after you have generated service implementation objects in the backend system.
Deletion before Generation of Objects (Service Implementation)
To delete a project before generation, proceed as follows:
-
Start Service Implementation Workbench.
-
Navigate to your project (see Opening Projects).
-
Select your project.
-
Open the context menu and select Delete Project. The system asks you whether you really want to delete the specified project.
-
Choose Yes to confirm.
Deletion after Generation of Objects (Service Implementation)
The deletion also affects the service implementations of the project that you have already generated in a backend system. To delete a project for which objects have been generated, proceed as follows:
-
Start Service Implementation Workbench.
-
Navigate to your project.
-
Open the context menu and select Delete Project. The system displays a dialog box with all generated objects and a checkbox for each object that is previewed to be deleted. In the default setting, the checkbox is activated for each object.
-
Decide, if you want to delete all generated objects.
If so, select Execute.
If you do not want to delete individual objects, deselect the checkboxes of the objects that you do not want to delete.
-
Execute. The system then deletes only those objects of the project, for which the checkbox is still activated.
Result
The system deletes the project. If there are generated objects available for this project, it also deletes these objects if you not have deselected them. If no generated objects exist, the system displays the message that the specified project has been deleted successfully.
