Process Characteristics with Element Details Report

The Process characteristics with element details report is an Excel file that contains an overview of elements and attribute values found in the selected models (diagrams). Attributes without any values are not listed in the report.

The following model types can be used in the Process characteristics with element details report:

  • BPMN 2.0

  • DMN 1.1

  • ArchiMate

  • EPC

  • Value chain

  • Organization chart

This section explains how to generate a Process characteristics with element details report.

  1. Open the explorer and choose Start of the navigation pathReporting Next navigation step  Process characteristics with element detailsEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Select one or multiple models to include in the report.

  3. You can select the following options:

    • Use merged cells in output spreadsheet

    • Export file as XLS (Excel 97)

  4. Choose Export options to configure which elements and attributes you want to include in the report. The following options are available:

    • Include IDs

      Include the unique identifier for each element.

    • Included elements

      • Core elements (without edges): Include only those model elements that belong to the BPMN (Core Elements) set. Connectors (edges) won't be included.

      • All elements (without edges): Include all model elements except connectors.

      • All elements: Include all model elements, including connectors.

    • Included attributes

      • Custom attributes: Include only custom attributes created by the tenant owner or administrator.

      • Custom & main attributes: Include custom attributes as well as the main attributes provided by the system.

      • All attributes: Include custom attributes and all of the attributes provided by the system.

  5. Choose Start analysis.

The Process characteristics with element details report generates. The file is saved to your browser's download folder.
