Dangerous Goods Management (EHS-DGP)

Purpose

You can use the Dangerous Goods Management component to:

  • Edit dangerous goods-relevant material data

  • Edit dangerous goods master records

  • Define dangerous goods checks and run them in sales and distribution processing

  • Define dangerous goods documents and output them automatically or manually

  • Send dangerous goods data in electronic form for a delivery or a shipment

Integration

Dangerous Goods Management is integrated to functions of the following areas:

  • Materials Management (MM)

  • Sales and Distribution (SD)

  • Product Safety and Stewardship

Constraints

The Dangerous Goods Management component maps the legal regulations for packaged goods in the system, but not those for unpackaged goods (bulk/tank).
