Below you will find some examples for symbols of the symbol type Specification or Parameter . Note that the symbol keys listed are only examples.

Multiple value assignment information is always appended at the end of a symbol, separated by a semicolon. It specifies which data the system outputs if a data record has multiple value assignments. Multiple value assignments are separated by a comma. If nothing is specified, only the first value assignment appears.

You can enter more information about multiple value assignments manually. For example, if you want to output all values except the first, append the following entry manually to the symbol:;2-*

If multiple value assignments are to be output in another manner, for example, one value assignment per line or with an alternative separator, the symbol can be enclosed in a repeating group of the type Discrete Expansion of Multiple Values . In this case, no information on multiple value assignment is entered in the symbol itself.

Expansion parameter C expands the phrase code of the phrase of a phrase-related characteristic (for example,T+for Highly toxic ). You must enter the code in the phrase items in phrase management .

Expansion parameterGoutputs the graphics for a phrase (for example, the skull symbol for Highly toxic ). You need to enter the graphics file and its extension (for example,picture.bmp) in the phrase items in phrase management . The graphics file must be stored in the WWI folder GRAPHICS.
