Creating a Write Variant for HRPA_BNPLN
When you run the RP_PA_BENEFITPLANS_WRI
write program for the HRPA_BNPLN archiving object, you must enter the preprocessing program run ID. Other than the run ID, the selection criteria for the write program is the same as the criteria for the preprocessing program.
You can run the program in test mode or productive mode. Irrespective of this, you always need to create a variant for the write program (or select an existing variant). For this purpose, you have the following selection criteria and options available:
Session ID of Preproc.Program
From the input help for this field, you choose the run in which the preprocessing program selected the data to be destroyed for this write program.
Comment/Note
You enter a short text for this archiving session for the destruction of data.
Test Run
If you select this checkbox, the write program is started in test mode. No archive files are created and no data is deleted from the database. The delete program is not started.
If you do not select this checkbox, the write program is started in productive mode and archive files are created for the destruction of data.
Detailed Log
If you select this checkbox, a detailed log is generated. Only use this option to perform an error analysis in test mode. Since the log is very detailed you must not use it in productive mode.
Start Archive Administration
(transaction SARA
).
Enter the Archiving Object
and choose Write
.
Enter a name for the Variant
and choose Maintain
. The Variants: Screen Assignment
dialog box appears.
Define whether the variant is to apply to all selection screens of the program or to individual selection screens. Choose Continue
.
Enter the selection criteria and choose Attributes
.
Define the variant attributes.
Save the variant.
The program issues statistics on the archiving sessions for the destruction of data. The number of written objects and the number of the destroyed objects is displayed. Each benefit plans data record is written to a data object. The cost assignment data linked to the benefit plans data is written to the same data object.
The program also displays the additional PA0172
(FSA Claim Records
) in the statistics. This information is not displayed in the preprocessing program.
