So that only data no longer relevant for current business processes is destroyed, certain conditions must be met. Relevant checks performed by the write program RP_HR_EIC_WRITE of the archiving object HR: EIC Activities (HR_EIC) when activities to be deleted are selected ensure that these conditions are adhered to.

The program performs checks for the following parameters:

  • Status

    The activity must have the status Completed or Ended.

  • Country grouping and personnel number

    The activity must belong to one of the personnel numbers that was selected as a result of the country grouping entered on the selection screen of the write program.

  • Category/subcategory

    Category and subcategory classify EIC activities. The activity must belong to the category or subcategory that was entered on the selection screen.

    If no activities can be selected for these criteria, the data cannot be destroyed. The system issues the appropriate message.
