Checks of HRPA_ADRS
You should not destroy all permanent addresses of an employee. The latest one should always remain in the system. If you specify a specific subtype when maintaining the retention rule, then only that subtype is destroyed.
The preprocessing program performs the following archivability checks to ensure that only data that is no longer needed is destroyed:
The country grouping of the personnel number against the country grouping you enter on the selection screen of the write program.
The earliest master data change date (IT0003) against the latest archiving date. If the earliest master data change date is earlier than the latest archiving date, the system creates an error message and the personnel number is rejected. The system only checks this if the infotype is relevant to the payroll.
The recalculation date for the plant data collection (PDC) of IT0003 against the latest archiving date. If the recalculation date for the PDC is earlier than the latest archiving date, the system creates an error message and the personnel number is rejected for destruction. The system only checks this if the infotype is relevant for the time evaluation run.
