In postprocessing, document line items of payroll documents that have not been archived are deleted. These are:

  • Simulation documents

  • Documents with the status Deleted

You thus remove data from your database that you no longer require in the archive or in your productive environment.

Prerequisites

You are on the archive administration initial screen.

Procedure

  1. Enter the object name PA_PDOC and choose Continue.

  2. Choose Postprocessing.

  3. Enter a variant name and choose Maintain.

  4. If required, state whether you want to use the variant for all selection screens, or only to delete details on posting runs, and choose Continue.

  5. On the Variant Maintenance: Report RPCIPQ00, Variant ... screen, enter the necessary information and for each run type, use the run number to select the posting runs of your choice.

    It is useful to select the posting runs from the same period for which you previously performed the archiving session.

  6. Choose Attributes.

    The ABAP: Save Attributes of Variant screen appears.

  7. Make the settings of your choice and save the variant.
