Manage Cost Centers

 

With the transactional app Manage Cost Centers, you can search for cost centers as well as create, display, and edit the master data of a cost center.

    This feature is only available if you access the app from the SAP Fiori Launchpad.

  • Display cost center master data

  • Edit cost center master data

  • Create cost centers from scratch or based on existing cost centers

  • Display where-used lists for a cost center

  • Track all master data changes in change documents

You can access the app in two different ways:

  • From the SAP Fiori Launchpad

    Here, you always start by searching for a profit center. You then select the one you want to work with from the results list.

  • From within another app

    Here, the profit center you’re going to work with has already been selected in the other app.

These linked apps have to be already available in your system landscape or you have to implement them along with this app.

  • Manage Cost Center Master Data

    The create, edit, and delete functions of this app are based on the Web Dynpro app Manage Cost Center Master Data This app must be available in order for these functions to operate successfully.

    Even though you must have implemented Manage Cost Center Master Data, it does not function as a separate app, and there is only one access point, that is using Manage Cost Centers.

System Landscape Requirements

The app consists of the SAP Fiori launchpad configuration (such as the tiles and the navigation) and back-end components (such as the Web Dynpro application itself). The back-end and the front-end components are delivered in separate products and have to be installed in a system landscape that is enabled for SAP Fiori.
