With the transactional app Manage Profit Centers you can search for, create, display, and edit the master data for a profit center, anywhere and at any time. This app manages profit center master data in an easy-to-consume way.

You can access the app in two different ways:

  • From the SAP Fiori Launchpad

    Here, you always start by searching for a profit center. You then select the one you want to work with from the results list.

  • From within another app

    Here, the profit center you're going to work with has already been selected in the other app.

  • Manage Cost Center Master Data

    The create, edit, and delete functions of this app are based on the Web Dynpro app Manage Profit Center Master Data This app must be available in order for these functions to operate successfully.

    Even though you must implement Manage Profit Center Master Data, it does not function as a separate app, and there is only one access point, that is using Manage Profit Centers.

System Landscape Requirements

The app consists of the SAP Fiori launchpad configuration (such as the tiles and the navigation) and back-end components (such as the Web Dynpro application itself). The back-end and the front-end components are delivered in separate products and have to be installed in a system landscape that is enabled for SAP Fiori.
