Canceling "Released" Status

Prerequisites

  • You have already released an info object in the current release in processing mode Change, but you want to maintain context-dependent attributes, for example help links, for it.

  • You have already released an info object in the current release in Translate mode. However, you want to change it again even though the author did not create a new version.

  • You are in an Info Object List.

Procedure

To cancel Released status, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose one or more info objects in an Info Object List.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation pathInfo Object Next navigation step Attributes Next navigation step Cancel ReleaseEnd of the navigation path.

    Confirm or terminate the operation in the next dialog box.

  3. Choose Yes.

Result

The status of the selected info objects is changed from Released to Editing (in Change mode) or Translated (in Translate mode).

In the processing type Change, you can now directly change the attributes of the info object.

In the processing type Translate, you can now change the attributes of the Info Object and check out the Info Objects as part of an offline translation package.
