Defining Locations

Context

You need to define a location for every location that is to be used later as a content server or cache server.

Procedure

  1. In transaction SI24, choose the activity Start of the navigation pathSettings in the Knowledge Warehouse System Next navigation step Distribution Next navigation step Define LocationsEnd of the navigation path (or call transaction OALO).
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Enter a name for the location and a short description (such as Content Server New York).
  4. Save your entries.
