Starting Consistency Checks and Saving the Results

Use

You can start the checks and save the results for later processing.

The check results are not overwritten when you restart the check.

Prerequisites

Before starting the checks you must select the folders to be checked (in the Favorites or in the Entry Structure).

Procedure

To perform quality control checks, proceed as follows:

1. Select the folders that you want to check for consistency.

2. Choose Quality  Check Folder  Start Check.

3. The Select Checks dialog box appears.

4. Select the required checks.

5. Mark Save Check Results for Later Processing (as Extract).

6. Choose Enter.

7. Enter the Extract Name and the Extract Identifier.

8. Choose Enter.

Result

The checks are made in the background. The check results are saved in the specified extract.

Check progress occasionally by choosing Quality  Check Folder  Display Check Results.
