Consistency Checks
Use
These checks check info objects for database inconsistencies and errors. You choose the context, area and folders of the info objects to be checked.
Prerequisites
You are in the initial folder management screen.
You have administrator profile SAP_KW_ADMINISTRATOR.
Key Features
The following checks exist:
Links

Defective links
This check finds info objects in the selected folders with links:

referring to info objects in folders that are not productive
-
whose target info objects do not exist
-

Status of the target objects
Use this check to find out if there are links in the info objects of the chosen folder whose target info objects are not released.

Unknown links
This check finds info objects in the selected folders with hyperlinks:

whose source and target are within a content object
-
whose target lies outside the Knowledge Warehouse (for example, an address on the Internet).

Unknown graphics
Use this check to find out if there are graphics in the info objects of the chosen folder that are not recognized by SAP Knowledge Warehouse.

Are all target objects in the selected folders
This check determines whether the target objects of the hyperlinks are in the chosen folders.
It also checks whether the target object exists in the current context.
Use this check if only a subset of the folders (for example, all the folders of an application component) is to be delivered.
Attributes

Existence of person responsible
This check determines whether the person responsible for the selected folder exists in the SAP system.

Empty objects (only title)
This check determines whether the chosen folders contain objects that only have a title.
Accesses

Secondary and original language access to info objects
This check finds out whether the info objects in the selected folder exist in the desired language. It searches in all releases before the current one.
Consistency of Info Objects

Existence of source object
This checks whether the source object exists for a display object and whether it has a unique relationship.

Existence of display object
This checks whether the display object exists for a source object and whether it has a unique relationship.

Check Content Server management data
Checks whether the management data agrees with the Content Server data.
Structures
-
This check determines whether the number of objects in the structures in the chosen folder exceeds the recommended upper limit (500 content objects).

Title document in structure without contents
This check determines whether the title document in the chosen folder only has a title.
The checks are executed in the background. You can thus continue with your work while the checks are being carried out.
