Info Object Classes in the Documentation Area
Definition
The following info object classes can be used for creating documentation:
-
Structure (IWB_STRUCT)
Structures are used to combine content objects into a hierarchically organized table of contents in which the user can navigate. They appear in the browser on the left side of the navigation section. Structures are not language-specific.
-
Topic (IWB_EXTHLP)
The source format (that is, editing format) for topics is MS Word (DOC). The presentation format is HTML. The contents of a topic are categorized with the Content Type attribute.
-
Slide (IWB_PPT)
The source format (that is, editing format) for slides is MS PowerPoint (PPT). The presentation format is HTML. The contents of a slide are categorized with the Content Type attribute.
-
Multimedia object (IWB_GEN)
Multimedia objects are all the remaining content objects that are neither slides nor text. Multimedia objects can be created and edited with any MS Windows application whose format is registered as a valid format for this object class in the SAP Knowledge Warehouse. The source and presentation format of multimedia objects is the same. The editor (or a dedicated viewer) is also used for the presentation.
