Use

You log on via SAP GUI for Windows in the SAP KW system and use the functions it provides.

Prerequisites

You need an authorization in the SAP System of SAP KW.

Key Features

The SAP KW System provides the following functions:

• Manage folders

  • Create and delete folders

  • Organize the Favorites

  • Display and change folder attributes

  • Display the info objects of chosen folders in an Info Object List

• Maintain info objects

  • Create, change, and delete info objects (content objects / structures)

  • Change info objects in the structure editor

• Maintain info object attributes

  • Display and change info object attributes (for example, status or owner)

• Version management for info objects

  • Display individual versions

  • Create new versions based on previous versions

• Maintain help links

  • Create, change and delete the link between repository objects and info objects

• Check info objects

  • Quality assurance checks (for example, check if the target object called with a hyperlink exists)

• Translate info objects

• Display info objects in the preview and in the Web Browser

• Create printable versions of structures in Microsoft Word format

• Transport released info objects

• Search content objetcs (full text or combined with the attribute search)
