Creating a Folder

Prerequisites

You want to create information objects in an independent folder or divide a large folder into several folders.

You are in the initial screen of the SAP Knowledge Warehouse in processing mode Change.

You have authorization to create folders.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation pathFolders Next navigation step CreateEnd of the navigation path.

  2. The Create Folder dialog box for maintaining the folder attributes appears. If you have selected several areas, the dialog box Select Area is displayed first.

    The fields Technical Name / Folder Group can be predefined if the default values have been maintained for this area. The default value for the Person Responsible is the current user.

  3. Maintain the folder attributes.

  4. Choose Apply.

Result

The folder is created with the specified attributes and added to the Favorites.
