Deleting Search Results

Use

To improve system performance and for better clarity of the search results, you can delete obsolete and unnecessary search results.

Prerequisites

You stored the search results with the background search.

Procedure

To delete the search results, proceed as follows:

1. In the initial screen, choose Utilities  Find  Display Search Result for Info Objects.

2. The Read Search Result dialog box appears.

3. If you stored the search results as user-specific, select User-Specific. Otherwise you only have access to user-independent search results.

4. Call the value help.

5. The Extract: Select dialog box appears.

6. Choose Extract Management.

7. In the extract management, select the search results to be deleted and delete them with the function bar.

8. Save your entries.

Result

The selected search results are deleted.
