Creating Enhancements for Info Objects

Use

Create enhancements to reuse info objects in modified form provided by SAP in your maintained enhancement contents.

Prerequisites

  • You are in an enhancement context of an Info Object List.

  • The info objects have not been enhanced in the current context. Only the enhancement (enhancement name, for example /KWCUST/XY), and not the enhancement release, is relevant here.

Procedure

In the SAP GUI for Windows, proceed as follows:

  1. Select one or more info objects.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation pathInfo Object Next navigation step Create EnhancementEnd of the navigation path.

The enhancement context values (enhancement name and release) are assigned to the info object attributes Enhancement and Enhancement Release.

Result

Copies of the chosen info objects are created as enhancement context versions.
