Moving Info Objects within a Structure

Use

You can move info objects or info objects with subordinate info objects (chapter).

Prerequisites

You are in the Change Structure screen.

Procedure

If you have selected the option structure editor (with drag and drop), proceed as follows:

  1. Select an info object or an entire chapter (info object with subordinate info objects)
  2. Drag the info object to the new position (keeping the left mouse button depressed)

    Note that not all positions can be selected as targets for the drag and drop.

  3. After releasing the mouse button, the Select Drop Operations dialog box appears.
  4. Continue and choose whether you want to insert the object on the same level or as a subnode.
  5. Save the structure.

If you have selected the option structure editor (classic), proceed as follows:

  1. Select the info objects.

    1. Place the cursor on the info object.

    2. Choose Select / Deselect Info Object.

  3. Move the info objects.

    1. Place the cursor on the info object after which the info object should be inserted.

    2. Choose Start of the navigation pathInfo Object Next navigation step ReassignEnd of the navigation path.

    3. The Reassign Nodes dialog box appears.

    4. Specify if the info object should be inserted on the same level or on a lower level.

    5. Choose Move.

  5. Save the structure.

Result

The info object is moved to the new position.
