Transporting Info Objects

Prerequisites

You are in the Info Object List.

The info objects intended for transport have the status Released.

Procedure

To include info objects in a change request, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the released info objects that are to be transported.

  2. Depending on the required result, choose either Start of the navigation pathUtilities Next navigation step Transport Selected Objects Next navigation step Current Context OnlyEnd of the navigation path or Start of the navigation pathUtilities Next navigation step Transport Selected Objects Next navigation step With Context ResolutionEnd of the navigation path.

A dialog box with the change request query appears.

You have the following options:

  • Confirm the proposed change request.

  • Choose a request with Own Requests.

  • Create a change request with Create Request.

Result

The selected info objects were included in a change request.

If the selection contains info objects, that have never been released, the system displays the error message No information object was found for the given context. These objects are not included in a transport request.
