Checking In a New Version of a Multimedia Object

Prerequisite

A version of the multimedia object has already been checked in.

Procedure

To check in a new version of the multimedia object in the Info Object List, proceed as follows:

  1. Place the cursor on the multimedia object to be changed and choose Start of the navigation pathInfo Object Next navigation step Change Next navigation step New VersionEnd of the navigation path.

    The Select File(s) for New Version dialog box appears.

  2. Go to the directory containing the multimedia object.

  3. Choose the object and choose Open.

To check in a new version of the multimedia object in the structure editor with drag and drop, proceed as follows:

  1. Place the cursor on the multimedia object to be changed and choose Start of the navigation pathInfo Object Next navigation step Content Next navigation step Change Next navigation step Update from FileEnd of the navigation path.

    The Select File(s) for New Version dialog box appears.

  2. Go to the directory containing the multimedia object.

  3. Choose the object and choose Open.

Result

The new version of the multimedia object is checked into the SAP Knowledge Warehouse.
