Changing Multimedia Objects in the Editor

Prerequisite

In order to edit a multimedia object you must have the corresponding Editor installed on your PC.

Procedure

To change a multimedia object in the corresponding editor, proceed as follows in the Info Object List:

  1. Place the cursor on the multimedia object to be changed and choose Start of the navigation pathInfo Object Next navigation step Change Next navigation step EditorEnd of the navigation path.

  2. Choose Editor in the Edit Info Object dialog window.

  3. The multimedia object is opened in the PC application.

  4. Change the multimedia object in the PC application and save your changes.

  5. Close the PC application.

  6. In the dialog box Edit Document choose Save Document.

To change a multimedia object in the corresponding editor, proceed as follows in the structure editor:

  1. Place the cursor on the multimedia object to be changed and choose Start of the navigation pathInfo Object Next navigation step Content Next navigation step Change Next navigation step EditorEnd of the navigation path.

  2. The multimedia object is opened in the PC application.

  3. Change the multimedia object in the PC application and save your changes.

  4. Close the PC application.

  5. In the dialog box Edit Document choose Save Document.

Result

The multimedia object is changed.
