Creating Info Objects

Use

You can create info objects in the Info Object List (or the initial screen) for further processing in the SAP Knowledge Warehouse.

Prerequisites

You are logged on to the SAP Knowledge Warehouse system using SAP GUI for Windows.

Features

You can create following info objects in the Info Object List:

• Structures

• Directories

  Special type of a structure object. In the browser display it is possible to display a list of info objects in the content area, while usually only the content of exactly one info object is displayed. Only available in the HTML-Based Documents area

• Word objects (with creation of the display formats)

• PowerPoint objects (with creation of the display formats)

• Visio objects (with creation of display formats / Info Object Class only available in the QM Manual area)

• HTML objects (Info Object Class only available in the HTML-Based Documents area)

• Multimedia objects (without creation of display formats)

Activities

You can create an info object in the requested Info Object Class.
