Creating Enhancements

Context

To create customer-specific content in the SAP system, an enhancement is required as part of the context. If you attempt to create a new Info Object in the Info Object list of a selected folder in an SAP context (for example, English / 740), the relevant menus are all grayed out due to the namespace check, even if you have the appropriate authorizations.

Customers can use the namespace /KWCUST provided by SAP or their own namespace.

Procedure

  1. Open transaction SI24 and choose the activity Start of the navigation pathSettings in the Knowledge Warehouse System Next navigation step Development of Info Objects Next navigation step Contexts for Versioning Next navigation step EnhancementsEnd of the navigation path.
  2. Create the required enhancements by choosing Start of the navigation pathEdit Next navigation step New EntriesEnd of the navigation path.
  3. To save your changes, choose Save.
