Product Catalog
This Model Table function is used to provide a product catalog parent-child hierarchy structure with default rate values for every product. It is assumed that this structure is maintained as master data, and contains only one consistent hierarchy for each Version field value. Since this structure is used to derive the default parent rate value for missing values, it should not contain nodes that are not relevant for such derivation (root node, for example).
It defines the following fields:
-
Version: You use this field to differentiate between multiple actual/simulated versions.
-
Scenario: You use this field to differentiate between business scenarios. Data sets assigned to different scenarios will be analyzed simultaneously in sequentially related processes.
-
Product: You use this field to specify the product property of a position, for instance loan, deposit, and so on.
-
Parent Product: You use this field to define the parent node value in the hierarchy structure.
-
Rate Component: You use this field to specify the user defined components of the rate, for example, base rate and loyalty program rate. Rate components are summarized to provide the final rate value.
-
Rate: You use this field to specify the interest rate which is given to or received from the customer. It is an annual rate given in percentage.
-
Rate Unit: You use this field to specify the unit for the value of the Rate field. The default value “Annual rate given in percentage” is used.
-
Effective To: You use this field to specify the node validity date.
-
Effective Date: You use this field to specify the node validity date.
