Drilling Emissions Calculation

This is one of the core processing functions. Here, the following functions that calculate emissions associated with drilling activities are defined:

Calculate Drilling Energy Consumption

This Calculation function computes the total energy consumed during the drilling process. The energy consumption is calculated by multiplying the horizontal and vertical drilling depth with their corresponding energy intensity factors. Fracking energy consumption is then added to this value to get the total consumption.

Calculate Drilling Emissions

This Join function calculates the emissions associated with the drilling process during oil and gas production. The emission values are a product of the drilling energy consumption and the corresponding emission factor values.
