Create and Deploy a Process Instance
Modeling users create qualitative reports based on a process template. During the creation of process instances, such reports are automatically made available for execution users.

Procedure
Follow the steps below to create and deploy a process instance:

Choose . On the SAP Profitability and Performance Management screen, choose the Processes: Manage & Deploy tile.

Mark the required sample content environment with the corresponding version, and choose Continue.

On the top left-hand side of the screen, choose (Create Process Instance).

On the Create Process Instance screen, select a process template of your sample content environment and choose Create.

On the Process ID and Description screen, enter the following:

Process: Assign an ID to your process instance.

Description: Enter a description for this process instance.
Choose Create.

The system displays the Generate New Report screen. Here, you have the option to create a quantitative report as well. This does not affect the creation of a qualitative report as described above. When you do not need a quantitative report, choose Skip.

Select the created process instance and choose Deploy. On the pop-up window Deploy Process, choose Deploy to confirm the deployment. The system then deploys the process instance.

Choose Go to My Activities.

On the My Activities screen, select the deployed process instance on the left. The assigned activities now appear on the right-hand side.

Select activities of type “Execution” type one by one, and execute them sequentially by choosing Run. This ensures that the whole model is executed. The result is stored and loaded into qualitative reports with input/output activities of type “I/O”.
