Process Compliance Rules

This Model Table lists violations for process compliance and the desired activity sequences for a desired process path (also referred to as Happy Path). Compliance violations could either be sequence violation or outright violation. Sequence violations occur when the order of activities deviates from the expected order. Outright violations occur in the event of undesired activities. A happy path indicates that the activity sequence is desirable, while an Allow List stands for activity sequences that are less than ideal, but can be tolerated.

The function defines the following fields:

  • Preceding Activity ID: You use this field to specify an activity ID before the activity ID based on an activity sequence.

  • Activity ID: You use this field to specify a unique identifier for an activity within a process.

  • Following Activity ID: You use this field to specify an activity ID after the activity ID based on an activity sequence.

  • Compliance Class: You use this field to specify whether a record in this table is an outright violation, sequence violation, follows the happy path or an allowed sequence.

  • Compliance ID: You use this field to specify a unique identifier for each record in this table.
