Activity Drivers

The Model Table function is used to provide periodic activity drivers for the relevant activities to be distributed to specific products and services.

It defines the following fields:

  • Country/Region of Entity: You use this field to specify the country/region where the company operates.

  • Plant: You use this field to specify the production plant. It is considered as Level 2 information granularity.

  • Product: You use this field to specify the type of product, such as milk, cheese, butter, and so on.

  • Activity: Activities usually stem from company internal surveys or are already defined in internal company processes.

  • Activity Driver: You use this field to specify the unit description of the activity, such as pieces, hours, FTEs, and so on.

  • Contribution [%]: You use this field to specify the percentage of the contribution of each product to the total production volume.

  • Production Volume: You use this field to specify the quantity of products produced in each plant.

  • Production Volume Unit: You use this field to specify the measurement unit for the production volume.

  • Posting Date: You use this field to provide GL totals on a yearly, quarterly, monthly, or even daily basis to run the profitability and cost management process.
