Life Cycle Assessment Data

This Model Table function represents the effect data for the production of materials used in the fabrication of the company’s finished products. More particularly, it contains quantities of different effects resulting from the production of one unit of the reference goods, thus giving an overview of the environmental impact of the production per one material unit. The data must be provided by the suppliers of the corresponding input material. Alternatively, it can be acquired through research.

The function defines the following fields:

  • Data Year: You use this field to specify the year of the data entry.

  • Source of Input: You use this field to specify the source of the database.

  • Company Code: You use this field to determine a specific company, which financial data are taken into consideration, but it can have different values since EU Taxonomy can be executed at controlling area level, which spans multiple companies and legal entities.

  • Material Number: You use this field to specify the unique identifier for materials.

  • Material Unit of Measure: You use this field as the unit to measure the material quantity.

  • GHG Scope: You use this field to determine the specified scope within the whole value chain and follows the scope classification which is widely used in the assessment of GHG emissions.

  • Attribute Area: You use this field to specify the area of the effect, environmental, social or economic.

  • Attribute: You use this field to specify the type of effect.

  • Attribute Value: You use this field to specify the value of the effect.

  • Attribute Unit: You use this field as the unit of the attribute value.
