MARA – General Material Table

This function replicates the general material table data from the ERP system and allows for it to be utilized as a data source for downstream functions.

The function defines the following fields:

• Client: You use this field to specify a self-contained commercial, organizational and technical unit within an SAP system.

• Material Number: You use this field to uniquely identify a material in SAP.

• Material Group: You use this field to group together materials and services that have the same attributes.

• Customer Number: You use this field to specify a unique identification number for a customer.
