This sample content makes use of the Remote Function Adapter function of type “HANA R Script”. To activate and execute this function, you need to install and configure the R server integrated to the underlying HANA database of the SAP Profitability and Performance Management system. Therefore, you need to ensure that a HANA R integration has been set up, and that the privileges for HANA R Script have been granted to the PaPM technical user in the HANA Studio. This sample content also makes use of the Machine Learning function of rule type “Forecast”. To activate and execute these functions, you need to install and configure the SAP Automated Predictive Library (APL) to the underlying HANA database of the SAP Profitability and Performance Management system. Therefore, you need to ensure that the APL of version equal to or later than 1904 has been setup, and the necessary privileges as mentioned in the APL Reference Guide have been assigned.
