Project Data

This Model Table represents the information of projects.

The function defines the following fields:

• Current Number for Project 1: You use this field to identify a project.

• PS: Short Description: You use this field to specify a short description of the project.

• Object Number: You use this field to specify the project-related object that is used in various SAP Project System modules.

• Number of the Responsible Person (Project Manager): You use this field to identify the project manager for the particular project.

• Company Code: You use this field to determine a specific company whose financial data are taken into consideration. It can have different values since EU Taxonomy Management can be executed at controlling area level, which spans multiple companies and legal entities.

• Business Area for Project: You use this field in external segment reporting, based on the significant areas of operation of a company (for example, product lines or branches).

• Controlling Area for Project: You use this field to specify the level of reporting that the company leverages. It divides its controlling areas as in SAP system or financial systems.

• Profit Center: This field represents the lowest granularity in a company or legal entity that generates profit.

• WBS Currency (Project Definition): You use this field to specify the currency used in the WBS elements in the project:

• Project Planned Start Date: You use this field to specify the start date of the project.

• Project Planned Finish Date: You use this field to specify the end date of the project.

• Cost Center: You use this field to specify the lowest granularity in a company or legal entity where costs are pooled and controlled.
