Economic Activity Survey for Organizational Dimensions

This Model Table function represents the mapping table between the economic activity and their corresponding profit centers.

The function defines the following fields:

  • Company Code: You use this field to determine a specific company whose financial data are taken into consideration. This field can have different values since EU Taxonomy Management can be executed at controlling area level, which spans multiple companies and legal entities.

  • Economic Activity: You use this field to specify the economic activity carried out by the company.

  • NACE Code: You use this field to provide information about the NACE industry codes of economic activities.

  • Activity Number: You use this field to specify the unique number of each economic activity according to the EU Taxonomy Regulation.

  • Environmental Objective: You use this field to specify the environmental objectives set by the EU Taxonomy regulation.

  • Profit Center: This field represents the lowest granularity in a company or legal entity that generates profit.

  • Plant: You use this field to specify the production plant.

  • Current Number for Project: You use this field to identify a project.

  • Work Breakdown Structure Element (WBS Element): You use this field to identify the unique WBS elements related to a project.

  • Asset: You use this field to specify the identifier of an asset.

  • Material Number: You use this field to store information of all types concerning the material used. The corresponding SAP ECC field is MATNR in table BSEG.

  • Activity Status: You use this field to specify the result of the step 1 EU Taxonomy screening test that checks whether an economic activity is covered by the EU Taxonomy. If an economic activity is covered by the EU Taxonomy, this field is set to value “1”, otherwise “0”.

  • Fiscal Year: You use this field to specify the year for accounting purposes. The corresponding SAP ECC field is GJAHR in table BKPF or BSEG.

  • Activity Type: You use this field to identify activities that enable activities as per EU Taxonomy.

  • Comments Seeking Clarification: You use this field for queries and clarifications provided by the end users on each of the data records.

  • Comments Substantiating Data Input: You use this field to provide more information on substantiating the data input.

  • Other Comments: You use this field for comments that are not covered in the Comments Seeking Clarification and Comments Substantiating Data Input fields.
