Emission Factors – Project Objects

This Model Table represents the emission factors data.

It defines the following fields:

  • Year: You use this field to specify the corresponding fiscal year.

  • Country/Region: You use this field to specify the country/region where the company operates.

  • Location Projects: You use this field to specify the place where the company is located.

  • Business Area: You use this field to specify separate organizational units of operation or locations within an organization.

  • Object Type: You use this field to specify a group of objects that share similar characteristics.

  • Object: You use this field to specify the object of business area associated with any sustainability matters.

  • Data Source: You use this field to specify the source from which the emission factor has been taken.

  • Consumption Measure: You use this field to specify a measure type in which the consumption is calculated.

  • Distribution Type: You use this field to specify an added granularity of the type of consumption measure.

  • Distribution Percentage [%]: You use this field to specify the percentage division of the distribution type from the total consumption.

  • CO2 Factor: You use this field to specify the Carbon Dioxide emission factor of the activity.

  • CH4 Factor: You use this field to specify the Methane emission factor of the activity.

  • N2O Factor: You use this field to specify the Nitrous Oxide emission factor of the activity.

  • Unit of Factor: You use this field to specify the unit of the emission factor of the activity.

  • Global Warming Potential of CO2: You use this field to specify the Carbon Dioxide global warming potential.

  • Global Warming Potential of CH4: You use this field to specify the Methane global warming potential.

  • Global Warming Potential of N2O: You use this field to specify the Nitrous Oxide global warming potential.

  • Calculation Method: You use this field to specify the calculation method of GHG emissions, which can be market-based or location-based. A location-based method reflects the average emissions intensity of grids on which energy consumption occurs (using mostly grid-average emission factor data). A market-based method reflects emissions from electricity that companies have purposefully chosen (or their lack of choice).

  • Scenario: You use this field to specify the scenario of sustainable development.
