Calculate SBTi Targets

This section defines functions that calculate the SBTi Targets.

It comprises the following functions:

Calculate Near-Term Targets

This View function uses the Corporate Baseline and Target Model Table as input and calculates near-term targets for the next ten years.

Prepare Long-Term Target Calculations

This Join function uses the Corporate Baseline and Target Model Table as input to calculate the percentage reduction for the long-term target from 2031 to 2050. It shows the following data for the long term:

  • Target Year

  • Annual Percent Reduction Target [%]: Target reduction percentage compared to baseline year (2020).

Calculate Long-Term Yearly Target

This View function uses the Prepare Long-Term Target Calculations function as input and calculates the long-term target based on the following:

  • Target Year

  • Annual Percent Reduction Target [%]: Target reduction percentage compared to baseline year.

Calculate Plan Data

This View function uses the Corporate Baseline and Target Model Table as input and creates plan data for the next years, using the current year as base year.

Join Near-Term and Long-Term Targets with Plan Data

This Join function calculates and unifies the target emissions from the near-term, long-term and plan data calculations.
